In the Plant
Carl’s favorite piece of equipment is the Breakdown Mill. While he jokes that he’s not sure he could physically handle the work for long, watching hot metal being caught and transformed is one of the most exciting parts of the operation.
Outside of Work
Carl’s first job was working in a nursing home kitchen, serving food to residents. Outside of Niagara, he enjoys golfing, woodworking, and spending time with his granddaughter.

Listen and learn—the team has been doing this a long time, and there’s a lot of knowledge to absorb.
Favorite Memory at Niagara
One of Carl’s favorite moments so far has been realizing that he still has tool steel in his blood!
